Concealed Handgun Licensees Classes

Initial licensing training

Class description

  1. This is a state mandated 10 hour course.
  2. Please plan on being at our school for approximately 12 hours, as we take an hour lunch break and packet completion takes one hour.(Depending on class size)
  3. Introduction to Concealed Carry Laws and Regulations.
  4. Interpretation of Deadly Force Laws of Texas as they pertain to self defense, protection of person(s) and property.
  5. Firearms nomenclature, Safety Rules and Regulations, and thorough knowledge of your handgun of choice.
  6. Dispute Resolution, Talking out and finding solutions to potential violent behavior rather than acting it out, and it's ultimate end being a deadly one.
  7. Written Test
  8. Range Qualifications
  9. Questions and Answers between instructor and student.
  10. Packet preparation, to include: fingerprints, passport photo, multiple notaries, and application form to completion. You will now be ready to mail for your license.

Renewal licensing training

Class description

  1. This is a state mandated 4 hour course. Attendees sit in on the first fours hours of any regular Concealed Carry Class.
  2. Upgrades on new laws.
  3. Update any new information for application packet, new F.B.I. fingerprint card, three notary forms and passport photo packet.
  4. Refresher on Dispute Resolution.
  5. State written test.
  6. Range Qualifications.
